About the artist
Alison is a New England based artist and educator who loves nature, old homes, and memories of the past. She holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. She currently explores and makes art at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Fleeting moments, memories from childhood, places traveled - an investigation steeped in the ever present nostalgia of life. Time passes while a memory becomes built up, or perhaps disintegrates. The line between invention and reality is blurred. This is a reflection of the things which have come and gone and left a mark.
